Familie

Christian Kurt Ebert, geboren 1977 in Alzenau in Unterfranken, erhielt einen Bachelor of Fine Arts in Malerei im Jahr 2006, sowie einen Master of Fine Arts in Malerei im Jahr 2009 vom San Francisco Art Institute. Er hat national und international in verschiedenen Galerien und Non-Profit-Organisationen seit 2003 ausgestellt und lebt und arbeitet zur Zeit mit seiner Familie in Berlin-Charlottenburg.

Ebert’s Arbeiten beschäftigen sich mit biographischen Themen wie Identität und Migration, als auch der Malerei als grundlegendem Ritual der menschlichen Aktivität. Seit einigen Monaten arbeitet er an einer neuen Gruppe von Bildern, die er aus Bildmaterial seiner letzten Reise nach Akko, der Heimatstadt seiner Partnerin in Israel, entwickelt hat, sowie Material des derzeitigen Zuhauses der Familie in Charlottenburg, als auch seiner Heimatstadt Aschaffenburg in Bayern.

Family

Christian Kurt Ebert, born 1977 in Alzenau in Unterfranken, received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting in 2006, and a Master of Fine Arts in Painting in 2009, both from the San Francisco Art Institute. He has been exhibiting nationally and internationally with various galleries and non-profit-organisations since 2003 and currently works and lives with his family in Berlin-Charlottenburg.                                                           

Ebert’s work deals with biographical issues of identity and migration as well as painting being a fundamental ritual of human activity. Over the last few months, he has been working on a new group of paintings developed from picture material from his recent travels to his partner’s hometown of Akko in Israel, from their current home in Charlottenburg, and from his hometown of Aschaffenburg in Bavaria.
